The Elderslie basement separate entrance project, where we have constructed a brand new basement entrance leading to the basement from the backyard in Kleinburg (Vaughan), Ontario. This endeavor involved creating a unique access point through the fireplace chimney, adding a touch of creativity and charm to the entire space.

To enhance natural light and ventilation, four new basement egress windows were strategically incorporated, with one window dedicated to egress. This not only brings a breath of fresh air to the basement but also ensures safety and compliance.

What sets this project apart is the thoughtful design and location of the basement walkout, as it wraps around the fireplace chimney for a seamless and visually appealing integration. The widened steps, spanning almost 5 feet, not only contribute to the aesthetics but also provide practicality and ease of access. As you descend the widened steps, measuring almost 5 feet in width, you'll appreciate the thoughtful design that not only enhances accessibility but also amplifies the overall grandeur of the entrance.
